Professional Internships
All courses of study involve a professional internship. Two variants are possible:
- Integrated internship; duration: 20 weeks, the Bachelor Thesis is written parallel to the internship.
- Separate internship; duration: 12 weeks, the Bachelor Thesis is written separately to the internship.
All internships are supervised by Professors of the Faculty. The formal internship requirements are described in the following documents:

The students are responsible themselves to organize their traineeships. References of companies searching for trainees are available at the websites of the institutes and work groups or in the category job advertisements.
Internships in Europe: Placement and Scholarship
The Leonardo office of Saxony-Anhalt arranges and supports internships for students and alumni of the universities in Saxony-Anhalt according to the EU programs Erasmus and Leonardo da Vinci. Further information: Leonardo office Saxony-Anhalt.
An exchange program between the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and several Canadian Universities is supported by the LEIF Transatlantic Exchange Partnership Project.
